Imphal, June 30 : The KYKL has expressed profound sadness and grief on the death of the vice-chairman of UNLF Ayekpam Tomba alias Tona alias Wangpa who died in the morning of June 28 last.
In a message issued by chairman of the banned outfit, N Oken, the deceased Wangpa was branded as a revolutionary leader with no blemish in character and behavior. The statement said the UNLF vice-chairman was a leader who has no comparison in offering selfless services and an embodiment of good qualities of a leader like good work culture, hardworking, good learner, will power, perseverance etc.
His death is a loss not only a loss to the UNLF but is a vacuum for the revolutionary movement of WESEA that will be hard to fill, it added.
