Kut Committee appeals not to post unwanted comments on Social Media

Chandel District Kut Committee expressed profound gratitude to all the dignitaries and general public who contributed in successfully organizing the District Level Kut celebration and appealed not to post unwanted or hatred comments on social media.
Briefing the media persons at Sugnu Lamhang, Robert Gangte, Joint Secretary of Chandel District Kut Committee expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the individuals, Village Chiefs, Social Workers, Ministers particularly Water Resource & YAS Minister Letpao Haokip, Chandel ADC Members who have contributed in successfully organizing the District Level Kut 2018.
He also stated that it is very unfortunate that some unwanted comments went viral on social media following misunderstanding between Jury member M. Paoneo Haokip and Host Jenny Sauntak. And the two individuals also made allegation and counter allegation through both Print and electronic media some days back.
As such, the Kut Committee summoned them and brough an amicable understanding so that they would not made any allegation in any social, print & electronic regarding Miss Kut Contest, added Robert.
Kut Committee Chairman Thangminjam Zou who also attend the press meet appealed to all individuals not to post any unwanted comment on social media and any unfounded allegation regarding the Miss Kut contest. The Kut committee will not tolerate posting of such unwanted comments and allegations in social, print and electronic any longer, he added.
The Chairman also warned that the Kut Committee will take up legal action including filing of cyber crime case against any individual who posted any hatred or unwanted comments and unfounded allegation on social, print and electronic media.
General Secretary Jangkholam Simte and Secretary Art & Culture Thangjamang Khongsai also attended the press meet.
