Kuki Students Organisation (KSO) has expressed condemnation over the recent attack of a Assam Rifle personnel namely Janglal Baite @ Lalboi by a group of 5-6 Paite speaking people.
In a statement, General Secretary of KSO CCpur, NJ Haoneo Baite said that the incident is an act of hatred and discrimination to de-stabilize the congenial inter-community tranquility in Churachandpur town.
The KSO Churachandpur is deeply pained to note of the fact that simmering lawlessness and inter-community intolerance had become the order of the day in Churachandpur, condemned the General Secretary in a statement.
Churachandpur Town is the home of different ethnic groups with a miniature dialectical difference should not be taken as tool to further widen and groom to showcase one’s community upmanship is a dangerous trend to arrest at one go before its too late, said NJ Haoneo Baite.
In view of the prevailing sentiments of irk amongst the victim community, KSO appealed to all higher authorities to act swift and arrest the perpetrators in the lone interest of promoting communal peace and harmony within 48hours from now.
