Imphal, April, 7: The Kuki National Front-Nehlun (KNF-N) group on Thursday warned that contractors who is bidding lower than the actual tender price for PMGSY Phase-X under the govt. of India for Manipur.
Speaking to few media persons at their general headquarter Daitwi camp, Sadar Hills in Senapati district, Captain Arun Kuki, CO of the general headquarter stated that in the operational area of the organization any groups or individual is not allow to collect or made any monetary demands and other UGs groups should not interfere.
Under the PMGSY Phase-X for the construction of Inter Village Road (IVR) in Sadar Hills No. MNO6257, from “Rishophung to Komlaching” consecutively for three times a tender has been bid in a (-) Minus by VS Nganingkhui against the interest of the public and against the rule of India govt.
KNF-N has been observing all this bidding from the beginning. He said VS Nganingkhui a contractor has not follow the guideline and bid the tender in (-) Minus 26.99 repeatedly.
Considering the act as a challenge to the organization Captain Arun Kuki said that any malpractice is found in awarding the contract works then the party will not remain as silence spectator.
The organization also asked VS Nganingkhui to contact KNF-N within 2 weeks starting from today, and further urges any organization or civil society not to support or help the said contractor.
