The 1st Khubung Angsung Bungna Alum( a get together of Khubung khullen descendants) was held on March 23 at Khubung Khullen’s Dutuwl Thuh, under chakpikarong sub division in Chandel district.
The celebration which was held under the theme “Anathi pam vapumthu Nang ru A-angsung hin kithin kumpung ape pahin ning” (For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever) was attended by MLA of 41 AC Chandel Victor Nunghlung; Vice Principal of United College Lambung Kanthung Ruwndar as chief guest and functional president. While Chandel MDCs namely Sh Manglem Monsang, Ts Willingson, Ts Kanlun, KT Hari , along with UNC vice president Ts Warngam attended as guests of honour.
