Kha Manipur College observes foundation day; awards distributed

Imphal, July 27:  Kha Manipur College Foundation day cum award distribution ceremony was held today at the auditorium of the college today at Kakching. Annual magazine of the college was also published during the celebration.
During the prize distribution ceremony Yumnam Jenifer Chanu of Irengband Sabal Leikai, Naorem Jeeteshwori, Kakching Paji Leikai, Jeet Nawaz Thouba of Thoubal Moijing and Nongmaithem Rebika Devi of Kakching Paji Leikai were presented with Naorem Gandhar Memorial Award in Chemistry for securing 2nd, 4th, 8th and 9th position respectively in the B.Sc Chemistry 6th Semester examination conducted by Manipur University. The award was sponsored by Naorem Shantikumar Singh.
Naorem Robi Singh, Kakching Wairi Senapati Leikai, Naorem Abinash Singh,Kakching Wairi Sabal Leikai, Pukhrambam Rakesh Singh, Langathel Mayai Leikai were presented with Naorem Babuyaima Memorial Award in Mathematics for securing 2nd, 4th, and 5th position respectively in the BA 6th Semester Examination 2017 conducted by Manipur University. The award was sponsored by Dr. N. Subhaschandra Singh.
Passed out student Mayengbam Bidyamani Chanu of Wabagai Mayai Leikai, who bagged Governor’s Gold medal Award for securing 1st position in the MA Manipuri Examination of Manipur University along with Ranjana Chabungbam who secured 6th position, were received and presented mementos of appreciation and encouragement.
Principal of the college along with its previous Retd Principals of the college, Naorem Gandhar Singh, Naorem Ibotombi Singh, Dr. Salam Khoghen Singh, Kshetrimayum Shamu Singh graced the foundation day celebration cum prize distribution ceremony.
