KCP mourns the demise of its Deputy Finance Secretary

Deputy Finance Secretary of the proscribed group Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP), Comrade Ngaspam Achouba Meitei (53 yrs) passed away at around 9 am of November 21, 2021, due to an illness, a statement by S. Mangal, Secretary-in-charge, Information and publicity of the rebel group informed media houses.
A statement by the organization condole the demise of the party cadre. It said that as a mark of respect to the departed soul the party observed half-mast o the party flag and paid red-salute to the departed soul at all its camps including CHQ, GHQ, Units of the party, Camps of MFL, and at other mobile units and performed the last rite of the late cadre.
The KCP statement term the demise as a loss of not only the party but also for the people which will remain vacant to the society.
The statement further said that Comrade Khuman Meitei joined the party when he was 14 years old. In 2006, he started serving as CO of camps after a decision of the Party National Congress. In 2014 he became the interim member of the KCP and later served as the Secretary-in-charge of the Headquarter. Later, since 2015 he served as the Deputy Finance secretary of the party till his last breath.
