Banned armed group KCP-MC (Liberation) has imposed indefinite ban on 5 (five) CBSE schools- Central Institute of Science, Keishamthong Hodam Leirak; Galaxy Senior Secondary School, Kwakeithel; Akash Institute of Arts and Science; Ram Krishna Higher Secondary School and Ng Mangi Higher Secondary School, Khurai Chairelthong for running a cartel of illegal educational business.
Announcing the ban, a release by Lanchen Meitei, Secretary Information and Publicity of the outfit said that besides of the unlawful educational trades, the schools are having close nexus with “robot underground groups” who are signatories of Suspension of Operation in order to gain monetary benefit as well as tarnishing the ongoing independence movement.
It has been came into light after a painstakingly investigation conducted by the group. The institute should be responsible for any untoward incidents, Lanchen warned.
In connection with the recent ban on catholic schools based in the city, the group also said that the ban was imposed by a group surrendered KCP (MC) cadres who staying with India Army at its Khurkhul camp. However, the ban had been lifted following an agreement with a students’ organization without any reasons, the secretary alleged.
With all these reasons and giving undue problem on innocent students, KCP- MC (Liberation) will impose ban on the administrators of catholic schools, the secretary said.
