The District Election Office, Kangpokpi, has completed the digitisation of Enumeration Forms for the three Assembly constituencies—46-Saikul, 50-Kangpokpi and 51-Saitu—following the conclusion of the Enumeration Phase under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll on June 28.
The month-long exercise, carried out from May 20 to June 28, involved house-to-house visits by Booth Level Officers (BLOs), who distributed, collected and verified Enumeration Forms through both online and offline modes.
Of the 1,10,258 forms distributed across 166 polling stations, 99,869 have been digitised, while 10,421 were recorded as Uncollectible Enumeration Forms (UEFs), resulting in a digitisation rate of 90.55 per cent.
According to the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur, the draft electoral roll will be published on July 5. Claims and objections may be submitted between July 5 and August 4, while their disposal will continue until September 2. The final electoral roll is scheduled to be published on September 6.
