A team of Kakching Police led by SP Shrey Vats raided the residence of the Managing Director Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) and the head office of Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) at 8.30 am today.
Unconfirmed sources said that the raid was conducted in connection with a Lokayukta case related to the construction of 2 x 1MVA Sub-Station at Chakpikarong along with the associated 33 KV line (for 45 km) and related civil work on a turn-key basis under NLCPR. It may be mentioned that the work order dated September 25, 2009 for the construction of 2 x 1MVA Sub-Station at Chakpikarong along with the associated 33 KV line and related civil work on Turn-Key basis under NLCPR was issued to Shyama Power (India) Pvt Ltd, 15 and 16, Harton Complex, Electronics City, Sector – 18 (part), Gurgaon – 122 015, Haryana (India).
