The Just and Fair Delimitation (JFD) has strongly condemned the alleged bomb attack at Tronglaobi Awang Leikai in the early hours of April 7 that resulted in the death of two children and left their mother seriously injured.
Addressing a press meet held at the party office, Jitendra Nongomba expressed deep concern over the incident, describing it as a grave act of violence against civilians. He also raised concern over the alleged firing by personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), which reportedly led to the death of three youths.
Stating the organisation’s position, Jitendra Nongomba said that the JFD stands in full support of any decisions or actions taken by the Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), and called for unity in responding to the situation under the principle of “one voice, one action.”
As a mark of solidarity, the JFD announced the postponement of its public convention that was scheduled to be held on April 12, 2026, at the Manipur University Auditorium.
