JU (U) has demanded to the concern authority to terminate the post commander of 24 Assam Rifles, Khudengthabi Major Rocky to for his alleged misconducts and arrogant activities.
Reacting to recent reports of detaining State Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Francis Ngajokpa’s convoy by the Commander at Khudengthabi check post for around 10 minutes on Monday, President of M Tombi, President of JD (U) Manipur State Unit said that detaining the minister and his convoy after provoking a state wide stir is an insult to the people of Manipur.
Chief Minister of Manipur must convene a high level meeting with officials of Assam Rifles, Home Ministry, and State Home department must terminate the commander.
