JCILPS Women Wing storms to MLAs residence

Imphal, Oct 5: Large number of volunteers belonging to Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) today throng to the residence of Keishamthong Assembly Constituency MLA Laishom Ibomcha and Naoriya Pakhang Lakpa Kendra MLA RK Anand.
At around 10 am the JCILPS Women Wing thronged to the residence of MLA Ibomcha at his Keishampat Leishom Leirak Residence. MLA Ibomcha came out and meet the women volunteers and said that he has been doing everything that he can to introduce ILPS in the state. He however said that as he is alone in the State Assembly his voice has not been listened. He further assured to support the movement at his level best.
Later, the JCILPS Women Wing Volunteers went to the residence of RK Anand at Kwakeithel. The women wing volunteers had heated argument with the workers of RK Anand as the MLA was not present at the time. The women wing volunteers urged the worker to call out the MLA but as he was not at home at the time the workers told the women volunteers to meet him at some other days. The women volunteers later told the MLA’s workers to convey the message to the MLA and said that the MLA should urged his political party to put ILPS in their election manifesto.
Slogans demanding ILPS were shouted by the Women Volunteers at both the residence of the MLAs.
