Remembering the day on which Irabot went underground, Irabot Research and Commemoration Committee, All Manipur Intellectual Forum, Movement of Indigenous People Manipur observed the day as Yawol Mitam Numit.The observance was attended by Professor Chinglen Maisnam, S. Shyamsunder, President of Irabot and Research and Commemoration Committee, Ch. Gopalmacha, L. Gojen, S. Umakanta Mangang, N. Nutan Singh, W. Shyamkeshor Singh and S. Basanta as dignitaries.A rally was flagged off from Tiddim Ground and marched till Keishampat Lairembi Community Hall. A meeting was organised after the volunteers who took part in the rally assembled there.Speaking on the occasion, Chinglen Maisnam said that people of the state respect Lamyanba Irabot and regarded him as God. Even though he was a God, whatever he predicted became truth. He predicted that Manipur will by the brown people after the period of British came into an end. He also predicted that another Nupi Lal will be take place in the state.
