CTCC observed Manipur Independence day against 2014

Custom and Traditional Celebration Committee (CTCC) observed Manipur Independence day 14th August 1947 with the motto ‘custom is the gift of unity amongst the 39 tribes in Manipur for peace and prosperity’ today at Gandhi Memorial Hall, Imphal.As a part of the function, various cultural activities such as Manipuri Thougal Jagoi and devotional songs were performed by various artistes. Meetei Layeng group also presented awards to the widows of Manipur as a part of their annual contribution.L. Tompishak Singh, Chairman, ICM, President, MSCU, H. Naba Singh, Chairman, Council of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Manipur, Dr. N. Ibohal Meitei, President, CTCC and founder Meitei Layeng and Mangisana, Chief Advisor, CTCC attended the function as Guests of Honour, President and Special invitee respectively.
