The Jiri College Students Union (JCSU) has closed the Administrative block of the college from December 9 in connection with the transferred of teachers from the college without any substitution despite the shortage of staff.
The General Secretary of Jiri College Students Union W. Surjit Singh stated that since the continuation of 5 days agitation of administrative block closed, the government remained blind eye in the demand of the students which is very unfortunate.
The agitation will further continue until and unless the authority has not revoked the transfer order of Jiri College teachers, Stated by W. Surjit Singh.
He also said, not to politicised in the education sector, he asked how would the students will educate without teachers.
The agitated students hold the placard written as “Revoke the transfer order, Don’t transfer teachers from Jiri College” and so on.
