A 37 years old housewife died late yesterday evening after she had vaccinated Covid Vaccine at around noon the same day. The cause of the death is still yet to be ascertained, however, a family member suspects the effect of the vaccine as she had complained of illness after the vaccination.
The report said that the ill-fated 37 years old lady, identified as Naorem Ningol Laishram ongbi Kiranbala Devi, wife of L. Sarat of Khangabok Part-I Khulakpam Leikai, Thoubal district got the vaccination at around 1.30 pm yesterday at Primary Health Center (PHC), Sangaiyumpham in Thoubal district.
After returning home she had complaints of illness and uneasiness and at around 5.30 pm, she was immediately rushed to Thoubal district hospital where she succumbed. She is a mother of 7-month-old infant.
Suspicious over the death committee called JAC against the death of Naorem Ningol Laishram Ongbi Kiranbala Devi (Covid Vaccination) has been formed and decided not to accept the dead body unless enquiry has been conducted.
