JNIMS plays Blow Hot and Craw Cold Theory

Imphal,Oct.26: Who is controlling the administration of Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences remain as a big question. If it is the Government of Manipur, then why did the Director of JNIMS failed to obey the orders of the government of Manipur. Why is it that the government fails to take any action against him for not following the order?The government of Manipur had passed an orders by the name of the Governor of Manipur bearing reference No.12/11/09-M(JNIMS)(iii) dated Imphal, the 18th June, 2014 for repatriation of 17 doctors of Manipur Health Services who are presently engaging  on deputation by JNIMS, Porompat to their parent department with immediate effect. However till date the JNIMS authority did not issued the release order for 13( Thirteen) doctors even as four doctors have been sent back to their parents department.  According to document available with Imphal Times to orders were issued regarding the matter i.e. on  11th August, 2014 (order No.1/86/Repatriation/JNIMS/12 for Dr. O.Sanahanbi Devi, Sr. Medical Officer,MHS,Grade-III and another was on 26th September,2014 bearing the same order No. For three doctors namely, Dr. H.Ibemcha Devi,SMO, Dr.S.Sucheta Devi ,SMO and Dr. Sadhana N, MO).According to a source, the government of Manipur had issued another order bearing reference No.12/11/09-M(JNIMS)(i)dated on the 18th June,2014 for repatriation of six pharmacist, eight Laboratory Technician, two Physiotherapist, two CSR, one Carpenter, one Dark room Assistant, one orthotics, six staff nurses, twenty-three Grade –IV,two LDC, one community organiser and one Laboratory Assistant, but till today JNIMS authority did not issued a single release order in that regards.Another sources said that in the same date the Government of Manipur  writes a letter with reference No.12/11/09-M(JNIMS)(ii) to the of  Director, JNIMS, Porompat regarding the repatriation of Staff Nurse, Paramedical Staff and Grade IVs from JNIMS to state Health Department and Absorption to JNIMS.  But in both the lists there were eighteen Nursing sisters missing. They are, L.Ranibala Devi, Lhingheilam Kipgen, Tinggouven Vaiphei, L.BimolaDevi, L.Kunjabi Devi, N.Shyama Devi, H.Ruhini Devi, Hormingla Lungleng, H.Nilashakhi Devi, K.Thangai, T.Yaimabi Devi, Nadira Begum, S. Brojeshwori devi, Nomita Nayak, H.Sunanda Devi, Chongboi Louvum, Dinjilu Kabui and K. Nolini Devi.A reliable sources also added that around one crore GPF money for the staffs money is still floating and some are missing. Regarding the GPF, the office of the Medical Superintendent, J.N Hospital, Porompat corresponded a letter to the Sr. Account Officer (GPF), office of the Account General (A&E), Manipur, Imphal (letter No.GPF/Gaz./JNH-201;dated, the 13th March,2014) for missing Credit of GPF contribution in respect of J.N Hospital Employees. The letter clearly shows the missing of the GPF contribution for the staffs begins from the month of November, 2010 to December, 2013.
