IRB jawan killed in road mishap

Imphal, June 12: An IRB jawan died following a major road mishap last night in front of Imphal Airport along the Tiddim road.Ksh Pritam, 33, son of Ksh Priyo of Haobam Marak Irom Leikai, who was riding a CBZ motorcycle got hit by an Eeco van and struck by a Maruti Swift car thereafter around 8 pm, a police report said.He was taken to Shija Hospital where the doctors later declared him dead at 10 pm. The victim was a jawan belonging to the 7th India Reserve Battalion (IRB).
