Imphal, June 12: Timely detection of three IEDs by police averted a major tragedy at Manipur Diesel, Mantripukhri under Heingang Police Station of Imphal East on Monday.The bombs planted by unknown people at the entrance gate of Manipur Diesel were found wrapped inside a bag, according to police sources.The police were immediately informed about the bombs by workers of Manipur Diesel. A Bomb Disposal Squad of Manipur police came in and safely retrieved the bombs.Bombs were placed by unidentified persons at Manipur Diesel several times in the past.
