Imphal, Oct 13:

International Peace and Social Advancement (IPSA) has appealed the government to find out the truth on the various happening among the communities of the state.

A statement said that the Manipur government knows how the National Sports University comes into being  at Imphal west district.  Again it’s no time to remind again the details of the national sports university in the Manipur gazette notification. The National sports university is the property of the Manipur and the Government and has nothing to do with the interest of any community. The Manipur Government should understand that the peoples of the Koutruk and Senjam Khunou village donated the land.  IPSA appealed to the Kuki community that it’s very unfortunate for not respecting the Meitei community religions temple at the Koubru, Kounu hill range and not to do so again in the future also.

IPSA further appealed that nowadays a new train is coming to change the old name in Manipur; it is not a good sign for the future generation.

IPSA appealed that it is very wrong the dispute area is trying to convert Kangpokpi district. The land is in the Imphal west district this type of politicize not to do.
