Imphal, Nov 4:

Indian Railway Board member Loitongbam Polen Meitei today inspected the work progress of the railway being constructed at Khumji-2.
Speaking to the media Polen said, if the work progress continues to work in this pace it will not fulfill the targeted year.
Inspecting the tunnel work and construction of railway bridge at Khumji where the tallest railway bridge is being constructed he said, out of the 7 bridges to be constructed work on four bridges is being taken up. Seeing only a few workers at the site and the style of working the member was frustrated. He said, as today’s visit was a surprise one and such visit is needed in the near future.
