Founded in October 2024, IU operates under the inspiring motto, “Discover You.” The initiative is the brainchild of three passionate individuals from Sirarakhong village—Eno. Fong Longvah, Eno. Khayaising Zimik Vasai, and Eno. Khanngarar Longvah. Driven by a shared vision, they aim to make Ukhrul a hub for eco-tourism, adventure sports, and sustainable entrepreneurship.
According to Eno. Fong Longvah, President of IU, the group believes that “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” Their mission is to promote adventure tourism while also providing a means of livelihood for the youth of the Tangkhul Naga community. Through IU, they hope to foster entrepreneurship and self-sustainability, offering young adventurers an opportunity to turn their passion into a thriving career.
Dirt Biking: A New Era for Adventure Tourism
IU offers a unique biking experience, allowing tourists to explore Ukhrul’s rugged terrain on powerful off-road bikes. Their rental system is both affordable and convenient, ensuring that adventure lovers can embark on thrilling journeys with ease. The pricing structure is as follows: Rs. 2000 per day for 350cc bikes (Service time: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Rental time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Rs. 1700 per day for 300cc bikes, Rs. 700 per day for single-drive Turk bikes.
These rates make dirt biking an accessible and exciting option for both locals and tourists. The IU office and showroom is strategically located at the heart of Ukhrul town, adjacent to the TNL office, Subji Mandi building, Viewland, Ukhrul, ensuring easy access for customers.
