Imphal Times Photo-journalist Sh. Ajit bags 2nd Position in Wild Life Photography competition

Photo Journalists cum reporter of Imphal Times, Sh. Ajit has been conferred the 2nd position in the wild life photography competition organized by the All Manipur working Journalists Union (AMWJU) in collaboration with Forest Department and Directorate of Environment and climate change on the theme Know your sanctuaries and wetland. The first position was begged by Robenson of Sanaleibak daily while the 3rd position was conferred to L. Ranbir of Morning Bell daily.
Photos of the competition were captured during a campaign held from January 31 to March 6, this year.
Competition for best Television reporting as well as Print media news report were also conferred today in a function held today at Manipur Press Club, which was attended by K Angami IFS principal Chief conservator of Forest, Dr T Brajakumar Jt Director Directorate of Environment and climate change , Khogendra Khomdram president Editors Guild Manipur and Bijoy Kakchingtabam President AMWJU, as dignitaries.
Best video news report was conferred to Kh Gentle and cameraman Ojit Mangang of TOM TV. While Kh Yaiphaba reporter and P Saratchandra cameraman of TOM TV beg 2nd position. Kh Jotin reporter and Irom Mocha of IMPACT TV beg 3rd position.
In the print media reporting section S. Saratchandra of Sangai Express bagged first position while Keny Phurailatpam of Imphal Free Press was conferred the 2nd position. Nando Waikhom of Sangai Express begged 3rd position.
