Imphal, August 31: Chief Minister Okram Ibobi’s technical statement for diverting the protest for introduction of ILP fails to calm the people of the state. Today too students belonging to various educational institutes in the state continue the agitation at different parts of the state.
At Thoubal district, Students of Salungpham High School and Ching Tam High School staged a protest rally demanding the implementation of ILP. The rally start from Veterinary ground Salungpham and then snakes through the street of Salungpham area and then return back at the same ground. Later, a sit-in-protest was staged at the ground.
Wangoi Apunba Lup also staged a protest for introduction of the ILP at Wangoi Kiyam. Similar protest was also staged at Samurou, Sekta, Uripok Bachaspati Leikai.
