Health condition of two among the nine students who were undergoing fast-unto-death from yesterday in front of the DESAM Office of Keishampat was in deteriorated condition. The nine students continue the fast-unto-death protest after the first batch hunger strikers were picked up by police. One of the protester Yumnamcha Loyangamba (class 3th semester of DM collage of commerce) son of  Y.Nimai of Yairipok Top appealed the state government to pass the Bill at the earliest possible time instead of wasting time by arresting students. Mention may be made that 3 members of DESAM Thoubal branch are undergoing fast-unto-death protest at Thoubal demanding implementation of ILPS in Manipur.
Meanwhile, some of the students who were undergoing fast-unto-death protest were admitted to RIMS hospital after they were allegedly beaten up by security force. Authority at RIMS do not allowed to meet the injured students but when enquired to some near and dear ones of the students it has been told that they were assaulted by security force. Condition of two among the injured was reported in serious condition.
