A division bench of the Manipur High Court comprising of Justice Lanusungkum Jamir and Justice Ahanthem Bimol Singh today suspended the disqualification of Trinamool Congress MLA Tongbram Robindro who got elected from Thanga Assembly Constituency, by the Speaker’s Tribunal of the Manipur Legislative Assembly.

Trinamool Congress MLA T Robindro was disqualified by the Speaker’s Tribunal of the Manipur Legislative Assembly on June 18, a day before the Rajya Election, after he left the ruling BJP led coalition government and joined the Congress camp.
