Thokchom Sanathoi, a relative of Heirok Assembly Constituency MLA Thokchom Radheshyam, has filed a complaint at Heirok Police Station against Imagi Meira President Th. Sujata over alleged objectionable remarks made during a public meeting.
According to the complaint, Sujata allegedly made remarks that caused public resentment and amounted to an affront to the MLA and his family. The complaint was submitted along with a written statement detailing the alleged remarks.
Heirok Police Station has registered a case based on the complaint and initiated proceedings.
The complaint comes amid heightened political and public sensitivity surrounding statements made at public gatherings in the constituency.
