Imphal, Jan 25: Governor of Manipur, Dr. Najma Heptulla, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh and other Ministers and MLAs greets the people on occasion of the Republic Day Celebration.

Dr. Najma Heptulla
I convey my best wishes to all the citizens in the country and the people of Manipur in particular on the occasion of Republic Day, 2018.
India became a Republic on 26th January, 1950 and on this day, we gave ourselves the Constitution of India. It was the crowning glory of an extraordinary generation of leaders whose heroic struggle for freedom saw the end of colonialism to establish the world’s largest democracy. They were successful in building unity in India’s amazing diversity. The enduring democratic institutions they established have given us continuity on the path of progress. Thanks to our forefathers, India today is a rising power, a country fast emerging as a global leader whose economic success is the envy of the world.
On this auspicious occasion, let us re-dedicate ourselves to upload and promote the secular, socialist and democratic values enshrined in our Constitution and work collectively for a peacefully and prosperous state.
My best wishes once again to all the citizens of the country and particularly Manipur on the occasion of Republic Day, 2018.

N. Biren Singh
I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of Manipur on the occasion of 69th  Republic Day, 2018.
Republic Day is an important landmark in India history. Sixty eight years ago, on this auspicious day in 1950, India entered a new era for making its own destiny. It was on this day the Constitution of India came into force and India declared  herself to be a Sovereign Democratic Republic. Today is an occasion to rejoice as well as reflect. Let us all pay our homage to our great founding fathers for their foresight and wisdom in formulating an exemplary Constitution that has stood the test of time and steered the nation in its arduous journey through the decades. It is the bounden duty of all the citizens of our great country to uphold and preserve it.
On this auspicious occasion, let us all rededicate ourselves to work in unison to make Manipur a land of peace and prosperity that all of us can be proud of.

Th. Biswajit Singh
I extend my warm wishes and greeting to the people of the State on the happy and joyous occasion of the 69th Republic Day celebration on 26th January, 2018.
On this Republic Day, let us get educated, evolved and engaged ourselves in hard work to take our country to greater heights. Let this Republic Day also remind us of the efforts of our forefathers and heroic deeds of our leaders who sowed the seeds of prosperity in the country.
Let this day also help us in ushering an era of peace, tranquillity and prosperity in the state.
Wish you all a very Happy Republic Day 2018.
