State government order to vacate Bengali High School on or before July 6, 2015 has irked students of the school compelling them to take on the street shouting slogans denouncing the act.
A student said that a state government Education department order has asked them to vacate the school as they have another plan to set up Ram Krishna Mission. The order to vacate the school came yesterday. The state Education Department order has stated to allocate the primary school students of the school to Moirangkhom Junior High School and those in the elementary and high school level to Samasakhi High School Moirangkhom.
Following the order school teachers today reportedly announced about the government order during the assembly session. Hearing the news the students left with no choice but to pour out their emotions.
As the students came out at the street police tried to stop them however, they shouted slogan against the government decision and asked the police to kill them before any move to vacate them from the school.
The students later came towards state assembly but were block at Keishampat Junction in front of TG Higher Sec. School. The students then confronted the police and later some move towards Nitaipat Chuthek and went to Paona Bazar. 2 students fainted and were admitted to nearby hospital. Later police drive out the students at the Keishampat Junction.
One of the school teacher condemn the government decision and said that the school has 42 primary student and 102 high school student, and for high school level exam started the day the notification came.
