Governor donates ambulance to IRCS Senapati, reviews Healthcare Schemes

Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, handed over an ambulance to the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Senapati District branch, at Raj Bhavan, Imphal, today. Representatives of IRCS received the vehicle and conveyed their gratitude for the Governor’s contribution.
Later, the Governor chaired a meeting at Raj Bhavan to review measures for strengthening healthcare delivery in the state. The State Health Mission Society presented detailed presentations on Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT), and Manipur Health Services (MHS).
Discussions focused on addressing gap of financial resources and improving access to affordable and quality healthcare for all sections of the society. The Governor directed officials to ensure effective implementation of the schemes so that no community is left behind.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) Vivek Kumar Dewangan, Secretary to the Governor Sumant Singh, and senior officers from the Health Department.
