When heated argument about deciding a place to hold talk between the government of Manipur , UNC and the Government of India is being taken place Union Home Minister had sent a letter to the government of Manipur stating that it is the State government that is responsible to end the economic blockade and that the state government should initiate peace dialogue with the UNC in the presence of Union Government representatives if desired so.

The differences has been sorted out as the Union Home Ministry has stated that the matter about talk with the UNC is in the purview of the state government and that state government should initiate dialogue with the UNC.
