Imphal, Nov. 27

Tamenglong : District Administration of Tamenglong conducted ‘Go to Village’ Camp at Tangningjam village at Tousem Sub-division, Tamenglong District. Seven villages namely Taningjam, Inem, New Magulong, Njingning, Impah, Phellong and Namtiram are covered .
Paotinsei Kipgen, Sub-divisional Officer of Tamei gave a brief introductory speech on ‘Khungang Chatse’ to the villagers who attended the program yesterday.  ADC Member, Tamenglong, Ramning Pame and D. Gangmei, CEO ADC, Tamenglong attended the programme as the Chief Guest and the President respectively . Under Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojna (PMUY) in association with M/S Tousem Indane Gramin Vitrak Gas Agency Ltd, Tamei distributed LPG connections and cooking gas sets to the beneficiaries who attended the programme yesterday. Medical department also conducted general OPD and distributed free medicines to the people. ST certificates, Domicile, Permanent, Residential and Income certificate were also distributed to the villagers .
As part of the camp various Government departments like DSWO, MSPDCL, CAF&PD, Forest, Agriculture, CSC, PHED, Ujjwala, Biometrics, Aadhar, Labour, CSC, Education, DIC, Sericulture, Handloom and Medical explained  about the various benefits of government schemes and projects to the people.
Various memorandum and petitions were also submitted to the ADC Member , Shri Ramning Pamei by the Chairman and the Secretary of the concern villages.
The villagers also expressed gratitude to the Government officials for taking up these initiatives .More than 500 people attended the GTV Camp yesterday.
Churachandpur : Go to Villages (Khungang Chatse) camp was held yesterday at Nalon Community Hall for Kangvai TD Block covering eight  villages (Ningthiching, N. Ningthiching, S. Nabil, Loilamkot, Nalon, Zounoi, Huikot and Tuikong) under the Churachandpur District Administration.
Various entitlements like registration of Job-Cards, PMAY forms, Domicile-
Residential/Tribe/Income Certificates, School materials (Blackboards; Water Filters), Sports Materials, Vermicompost materials, agriculture materials etc were distributed to beneficiaries at the camp by different departments and SDO/BDOs, ZEO, ADCC of concerned Blocks and by various Government like District Handlooms and Textiles, Social Welfare, Education, Medical, Forest Department, Vety & AH etc. The District Medical Dept. also conducted separate screening for Immunization and Diabetes.
The Vety & AH Department also conducted animal vaccination drive on the spot.
Bishnupur :The District Administration of Bishnupur continues ‘Khungang Chatse- Go to Villages’ Mission  by opening a camp at Loktak Modern Fish Market, Moirang yesterday. The camp covered all wards under Moirang Municipal Council of Moirang Sub- Division.
During the camp, government schemes   were availed to the beneficiaries  by SDO/ Moirang as officer-in-charge of the camp. The Deputy Commissioner Pawan Yadav distributed pea-seeds to the people. Power department issued MSPDCL led Bulbs, Medical department conducted NCD Screenings, and testing of blood sugar, enrolment of CMHT and distributed one CMHT card to a beneficiary. As a part of the camp, officials of line departments conducted awareness programmes related to the mission schemes to the locals.
Number of villages covered in GTV camps held in various districts today: Ukhrul-7 , Tengnoupal-2, Tamenglong -7 Churachandpur- 8, Chandel -11, Jiribam -1, Noney -21, Kamjong-9, Moirang – 12 Wards, Pherzawl -4 ( till the filing of this reports )
