Imphal, Jan 27: Even as the state successfully celebrated the 69th Republic Day of the nation normal lives was disturb as commercial sectors remain shuts following general strikes called by various rebel groups operating in the region.
Shops and business establishment at all commercial areas of the state including Khwairambandh keithel remain closed .
Entertainment houses, theater and other public function were cancelled, interstate buses, local taxi including popular diesel auto service and the state owned Manipur State Transports buses stay off the road.
