While alleging that the state Home Department is following the suit of Indian government’s ‘divide and rule’ policy to create enmity among various communities, the banned armed group Revolutionary People’s Party (RPF) has clarified that it has no hands in the serial bomb blasts of Lilong bridge and Pourabi that took place on August 14, 2003 and December 16, 2007 respectively.
RPF has no hands in the Nambasi bomb blast that happened on February 5, 2015 in which a person namely Adison Jajo (36) was killed and Hitler Keising (34) suffered injury. Allegation made by Home Minister, Gaikhangam against the armed group over the incident is his calculated move and spewing the poison of hatred among the people of Manipur, Roben Khuman, Secretary Publicity of RPF said in a release.
The Secretary Publicity maintained that unlike the corrupt government the armed group has the guts to say sorry when they commit any mistakes. However, RPF would not conceal wrongdoings of insincere government officials.
The bomb blast of Nambasi, Lilong bridge and Pourabi were orchestrated by Indian security forces in order to tarnish the present liberation war and suppress the insurgency movement. The unfortunate incidents were occurred when a Major who hails from Manipur was in command of Assam Rifles’ company posted at Manipur University campus, he added.
Citing the incident of recovering a large number of human skull and skeleton from the campus of erstwhile Tombisana High School where Indian forces camped for long time as an example of suppressing and exploiting the rights of the people, Roben Khuman said that the crumbling economic condition, increasing crime rate, mounting enmity among communities, influx of non-locals etc are the fruit of ‘hidden operations’ carried out by Indian military forces and selfish local leaders.
