Deputy Chief Minister, Gaikhangam credited the success of Congress to the people of Hiyanglam and to all the workers, ministers and MLAs.Speaking to media person, President of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, Gaikhangam said the achievement of Congress in Hiyanglam is not through magic but people believed in Congress government and they voted for it hence Congress succeeded. He added that in the upcoming election of 2017 Congress will again succeed as there is no Modi wave in Manipur because it has been proved by the 12th Lok Sabha election and the re-election of Hiyanglam area. He further said that other party like BJP knows that Congress party goes hand in hand with the people of the state.
