Kangleipak Student Association, Jiribam (KSA) Branch demanded the concerned authority to take action against those involved in taking out funds before completing the construction of sanitary latrines for 9 lower primary and upper primary schools of Sarva Shiksha Abhyan (SSA), Jiribam sub division.Addressing a press conference at the branch office of KSA, Jiribam, President, KSA, Jiribam, U. Rojen said that an amount of Rs. 45,000 has been withdrawn without completing the construction work of the sanitary toilet for 9 schools at Jiribam sub division. He further stated that a team of KSA, Jiribam had gone and investigated at all the nine schools and found no constructions being carried out. Even after complaining the matter, to the ZEO, DI and AI no response has been given so far.Advisor, KSA, L. Surendra Kumar Singh further stated if the contractors of the construction and the staffs of ZEO are found at fault, the organisation will take grave actions against them. The nine schools are namely, Binselu LP School, Chandranathpur LP School, Chingdong Leikai, Upper Primary School, Dholakhal LP School, Goakhal Primary School, Islamabad LP School, Laltingkhal Primary School, Nungphou LP Primary School and Sonapur Primary School.
