FOCS called on all indigenous communities to join the fight against narco-terrorists

Imphal, July 16:

Th. Manihar, President of FOCS (Federation of Civil Society Organisations) on behalf of the people of the state expressed deepest regret and condoled the death of a Maring lady at Sawombung area yesterday due to an unfortunate misunderstanding and announced that a public convention will be organised in the near future as per the wish of the people of the state to form a unified body comprising of all the CSOs, clubs, Meira Paibis etc so that the efforts to defend the integrity and future of the state can be strengthened and streamlined.
He also appealed to the armed underground groups fighting for the liberation of the state to join the present fight against the Kuki militants and foreign narco-terrorists to defend the state before the indigenous people have been wiped out from the state.
Appealing to all sections of the society to refrain from committing unwanted and undesirable atrocities and to control our emotions and stop spreading of rumors and unfounded news to ease the growing tensions, the speaker also called on all the indigenous communities cohabiting in the state to join and help in the present struggle to fight the illegal immigrants and narco-terrorists who are trying to wipe out the indigenous people of the state.
