The district conducted the third round of training for all drafted personnel involved in the electoral process. Held at the Training Hall of the DC Office Building (New Block) within the DC office complex in Kakching, the training session saw the participation of presiding officers and various polling officials.
Divided into two sessions, the training covered crucial aspects of voting procedures and responsibilities. In the first session, which accommodated the 1st to 4th batches, training was conducted by teams from the Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) offices of Wabgai and Kakching.
The training sessions were led by experienced individuals from the district administration. Notably, Sorokhaibam Sitaranjit, SDC Hiyanglam, and Athokpam Suranjoy, District Level Master Trainer, among others, imparted training to the respective batches.
A total of 177 Polling Officers participated in the first session, where they received comprehensive instructions on various aspects of their roles and responsibilities.
The second session of training, catering to the 5th to 8th batches, continued with the same vigor. Teams from ARO Kakching, ARO Hiyanglam, and ARO Sugnoo conducted the training sessions, ensuring that all personnel were well-prepared for their duties on Poll Day.
