Over 40 people suffering from fever has been reportedly admitted to UMANI center at Sangaiyumpham since the last two days. Speaking to reporters president of of Lamding Cherapur Homeopathic and UNANI association(LCHUA), M.V. Abdul Rahanam said that the centre is facing lot of difficulties due to lack of technician and equipments for treatment as the centre is run by private NGO.
He added that there has been an outbreak of the fever since last April in Sangaiyumpham of Kangabok Assembly constituency in Thoubal district, and now thw the epidemic is spreading at Sangaiyumpham Part 2.
He further said that, the virus spread from using polluted water. He however said that the Manipur government had organized a free medical camp on 7TH, 8TH, and 9th of May this year at primary health centre of Sangaiyumpham Moirang Pali bazaar to control the spread of fever.
Now at this time Again at Sangaiyumpham Part 2, the same deceases spreading and many people are admitted to the clinic of Lamding Cherapur Homeopathic and UNANI association for the further treatments.
