Father of Salam Sanajaoba, who was murdered by armed assailants on February 4 night has urged the government to deliver justice to his son. In a press meet held today at Manipur Press Club Salam Khamba, the father of Sanajaoba said that his son was dragged out of his house by two masked men and shot him dead near his house on the night of February 4. He said his departed son is survived by his 20 years old wife and a 7 months old son. Narrating on how his son become a member of KCP-MC Nongdren Khomba, Khamba said that his son was influence by his friends as he had stopped education due to financial problem and was leading a life of farmer helping his family. He was arrested in 2012 and was detained in prison for 2 years and later after his release, he got married with Chanu and has been living a peaceful life since then. Khamba appealed the government to consider his plea by punishing the culprits involved in the killing as well as by providing justice to the family of his son. He further appealed those responsible in the killing of his son to clarify the reason behind the killing.
