IT News

Imphal, July 24: Fate of the Imphal –Jiribam road is not certain as the Works Minister Kh Ratankumar himself could not said when the route will be. Answering to a question raised by MLA Shyamkumar during the ongoing Manipur Legislative Assembly session, Ratan said that zero to 3.22 kilometer has been constructed by state Public Works department and the said has been completed. However the left over portion that is from 3.22 Km. to 222 Km, has been constructed by the Border Road Organisation (BRO). As the BRO is not under the control of the state government the government is not in the position to tell when the condition of the road will be improved, said Ratan Kumar.
