Family members of accident victim alleges Kakching police of not taking proper action against the culprits involved.Speaking to media person today at Manipur Press Club, Naorem Jugeshwar Singh of Kakching Wairi Khullakpam Leikai who is also the brother –in-law of the woman killed in the accident, said that at around 02.10 am today, an A-star car bearing the reg. no. of MN01X-9660, ran into a bunch of women who were selling stuffs for a local concert held at Kakching Wairi High School. A woman identified as Naorem Medha (46), w/o. N. Lashmol Singh of Kakching Wairi Khullakpam Leikai Tanki Pareng was carried away by the wheel of the A star car and later claimed her life at the incident. The car did not stop and ran away. However the locals caught three people who were inside the car at Kha Manipur College. Four of them escaped and the mob beat up the three persons black and blues and the they have been identified as S. Roshan, s/o. S. Damodar of Wangjing Sorokhaibam Leikai, N. Rajeev Singh, s/o. S. Rajen Singh and N. Samjan Singh, s/o. N. Tombisana. Jugeshwar further alleged Kakching Police for not taking proper action against the people involved in the incident and demanded the concerned authority to look into the matter and arrest all the people involved in the accident.
