Entrance exams for Nursing and allied courses announced

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Government of Manipur, has announced entrance examinations for admission to B.Sc. Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied and Healthcare courses, ANM and M.Sc. Nursing for the 2026-27 academic session.
According to a notification issued yesterday, the examinations will be held on June 7, 2026. The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for B.Sc. Nursing, Pharmacy and Allied/Healthcare courses will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon, while ANM and M.Sc. Nursing examinations will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Online applications will be accepted from May 12 to May 25 through manipurmc.mn.gov.in and Manipur Health Directorate. Admit cards can be downloaded between May 30 and June 5.
The notification stated that eligibility criteria vary according to courses, with most undergraduate programmes requiring Class XII qualification in science subjects. ANM admission is open only to female candidates, while M.Sc. Nursing applicants must possess a B.Sc. Nursing degree along with one year of experience.
Application fees range from Rs 300 for ANM to Rs 2,900 for M.Sc. Nursing courses. Examination centres will be set up in Imphal, Senapati and Churachandpur.
