EMA annual meets

Imphal, Sept 13: European Manipur Association (EMA) organised its social gathering from August 26 to August 26 to August 26 at Coldblow Farm in the historic county of Kent, also known as the ‘Garden of England’ renowned for its rural beauty.Many people of Manipuri Diaspora who are currently living in Europe attended the Annual Social Gathering said a statement by IT/ Publicity Secretary of the Association Mr. Rajesh Hidangmayum
The Annual General Meeting of the Association was inaugurated  by the out-going Chairperson, Dr. Shamurailatpam Krishnananda Sharma, followed by organisational reports from the outgoing committee in relations to the various activities, achievements and support provided by EMA during the previous year.
The Annual general meeting elected Biramani Sagolsem as the new chairperson while Somorendro Khangembam has been handed over the post of general secretary. The new treasurer of the association is Rojita Laishram and the new IT Publisher is Daniel Ningthemcha, a statement from EMA said.
