The District Administration Kakching has announced that e-Shram Special Registration Camps is being organized across the district from August 25 to September 5, 2025. The initiative, undertaken as per the directive of the Government of Manipur, Secretariat of Skill, Labour, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department, aims to facilitate the registration of unorganized workers and platform workers on the e-Shram portal.
All eligible individuals have been urged to participate in the drive and complete their registration either through the official e-Shram portal at https://register.eshram.gov.in or by visiting in any of 78 Common Service Centres (CSCs) in the district. For further inquiry the citizens can visit the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
The categories of unorganized workers covered are Construction Workers, Migrant Workers, Gig & Platform Workers, Street Vendors, Domestic Workers, Agriculture Workers and other Unorganized Workers.
