District Sports Association (DSA) Kakching today appreciated the Chief Minister Okram Ibobi and the central team for choosing the site for construction of the Sports University at Yaithibi Loukolda in Thoubal district. In a press statement Secretary of the DSA Kakching M. Nillo Singh appealed the people of the state to co-operate with the decision of the state government for speedy construction of the Sports University.Mentioned may be made that some sections of the society had expressed strong opposition to the construction of the varsity at the site.
