A driver of a Shaktiman truck sustained serious injury while his assistant died on the spot when the ill fated truck hit at the hill lock at around 2 pm yesterday at Annal Khullen Village in Chandel District.The deceased assistant driver has been identified as H. Tompok Meitei (33) son of Nimai of Komlakhong Ereima presently staying Wapokpi, Sugunu and the injured driver has been identified as Moirangthem Naba (40) of Tangjeng Sabal leikai. The injured driver is presently undergoing treatment at RIMS.
