Dr Krishnananda calls for end to war with COVID-19

With an aim to create mass awareness among the people, BJP Patsoi Mandal under the aegis of social worker, Dr S Krishnananda has launched a bike rally today morning from Moirang Hanuba Lampak, here.
The rally which was participated by around 1000 youths and karyakartas of BJP Patsoi Mandal was flag off by Education Minister, S Rajen Singh.
While addressing media persons at the sideline of the rally, the Education Minister appreciated Dr. Krishnananda for his sincere effort to create mass awareness on COVID-19 with his supports as well as karyakartas of BJP Mandal at this time of crisis due to the pandemic of novel coronavirus.
As a medical practitioner Krishnananda, who is currently a Senior Ophthalmic Surgeon at University Hospital Derby and Bruton HNS Trust, United Kingdom has worked with various world-renowned hospital in UK.
Recalling the works and contributions made by S Modhumogol Sharma, one of the founder members of BJP in Manipur and father of Dr Krishnananda, Education Minister Rajen also called the youths of Patsoi Assembly Constituency to join hands and work for the betterment of people and added that Dr Krishnananda is a role model for the youths of Patsoi AC and Manipur in large.
The Minister also assured to extend possible supports in the social, humanitarian and development works being initiated by Dr Krishnananda.
While urging the people of Patsoi AC to fight against COVID-19, Dr Krishnananda said that youths are the pillars of the society and it is high time for the people of Patsoi AC to work towards a better future and in tandem with the development vision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
He also said that the rally was organised to create awareness on COVID-19 in connection with the nationwide celebration of 71 birth anniversary of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
