Imphal, July 10: Raising serious allegation of securing the post of Director, JNIMS by furnishing fake certificate, the Kangleipak Communist Party Poirei Meitei Lup today states that Dr Laishram Deben Singh, present Director of JNIMS should resign from the institute. A press release of the proscribed group stated that Dr Deben has never been certified as a Professor according to the records of Medical Council of India, disclosing that the MCI have previously announced that the post of Professor claimed by Dr Deben is null and void. The release also states that if Dr Deben, a corrupted and unscrupulous individual, does not resign within 5 days the party will take up further steps on the matter.
